If you're in the mood for a poorly written parody of a detective story with an annoying and immature protagonist. This is the book for you!
Never before has a book been so horny yet so dickless.
Engaging and suspenseful first entry in the tales of the wizard-detective Harry Dresden. A page-turner in the style of old-time detective stories. Relies on an adolescent masculinity that is a bit off-putting, but I hear the series improves, and will give the next book a shot.
Very much enjoyed it.
Think I found a plot hole, but it didn't detract from the fun. Nice, fast moving adventure, and if you like wizards in modern times, this one is for you. Obviously.
