What pains us journalists is that we document the same scenes and the same pain over and over again; the only thing that changes is not the scene, but the faces. The same river of blood stretches from the far north to the far south. We, the journalists, have been successfully exhausted, to the point where we no longer enjoy any of the privileges afforded to journalists elsewhere in the world

As a journalist in Gaza, I’ve dedicated my life to the truth. But today, the truth is that my family is struggling to survive. With support cut and no income, I can barely provide basic necessities for my mother and siblings.

Every day there are martyrs. We cannot even move around without fear of a sudden attack.

This is my latest work in which I documented the Gazan suffering—child labor, and everything bad, exclusively in Gaza.

I feel sorrow for all those who cannot find work to earn a living, but I also remember that we, the workers , cannot even earn enough to support our families.
