A night that was not free from death.

For long hours, Apache helicopters circled overhead. We have come to know that their presence in the sky often signals an imminent attack. The helicopters continued hovering for many tense minutes as we waited, anticipating what might happen next. Then they fired several missiles at a group of tents in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis. The strike resulted in the death of a woman and left dozens of civilians injured.

These aren't scenes from a movie or a fairy tale⁉️

These are children who woke up at dawn today to missiles that demolished their homes over their heads. They survived the bombing, but who will restore the safety to their eyes that was stolen in an instant?

Look closely at these eyes.

These aren't just the eyes of a child who was injured, but the eyes of a child who saw death invade his home before sunrise…💔
