Whoa: The European Space Agency's Solar Orbiter spacecraft got a spectacular view of Comet ATLAS (C/2024 G3) as it passed close to the Sun. Look at that enormous, splintered tail!

This comet won't be seen again for another 600,000 years.

ESA/NASA’s Solar Orbiter caught an incredible view of a comet! Newly processed data from this January shows comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) in full glory as it flew by the Sun.

This is the chop room where we chop the molding legs to size. I'm chopping in-stock molding. Black looks best with B&W photos & is also inexpensive. 1/12

Below and somewhat tucked under the bench top is a green colored metal machine that is a foot operated chopper for chopping the forty-five degree angles on the end of the picture frame molding. There's a trashcan to the right under the bench and a white bucket on the left with blocks of wood in it.

Here it is: The first clear image of an eclipse of the Sun by the Earth, taken from the surface of the Moon.

This is what last night's lunar eclipse looked like from the Blue Ghost lander's perspective on the Moon. Amazing!

Blue Ghost got her first diamond ring -- light from the Sun streaming from behind the Earth. Captured at our landing site in the Moon’s Mare Crisium around 3:30 am CDT, the photo shows the sun about to emerge from totality behind Earth.
