Critiques

A short introduction to Dagmar Herzog's thinking

The book looks at the attitude in fascist Germany towards disability and compares it with the modern day promises of the German fascist party, the AfD, to reinstate segregation in school between "abled" children and all those who don't fit that standard. Herzog talks about the importance of unkindness and of superiority in crafting a fascist personality, or crafting enthusiasm to follow the fascist agenda. She examines the impact this had on eroticism.

Alberto Toscano wrote an afterword for the book, in which he brings up the "racist fascism" lens, which he explores thoroughly in the second (I think?) chapter of his book, "Late Fascism".
